Kambi Group Appoints Anders Ström as New Chairman
Anders Ström has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board at Kambi Group, replacing co-founder Lars Stugemo.
Stugemo relinquishes his position after ten years, having communicated his choice to the Kambi Group Nomination Committee. This clears the path for Ström, another of the company’s originators, to ascend to the position. Stugemo reminisced about Kambi’s remarkable evolution throughout his time in charge, metamorphosing from a modest venture serving a limited number of associates to a worldwide frontrunner with acclaimed offerings and a distinguished clientele. He conveyed his sense of accomplishment in the company’s triumphs and his belief in Ström’s aptitude to guide Kambi into its subsequent phase.
Ström, a seasoned sector expert, contributes a vast reservoir of knowledge to the position. He established Kindred Group in 1997 and co-founded Kambi in 2010, where he also functioned as Chairman. A consistent figure on the Kambi board since its genesis, Ström expressed his privilege in embracing the appointment.
It is with great privilege that I embrace the Kambi Board’s request to act as Chairman. Kambi is undeniably molding the trajectory of sports wagering, as demonstrated by their latest series of remarkable collaborations. The organization possesses incredible energy, and I eagerly anticipate steering the Board towards amplified achievements.”
It is important to acknowledge that Mr. Ström, presently a participant of both the selection committee and the board, was not included in the deliberation process concerning his personal nomination and placement.
