Mississippi, in conjunction with Louisiana, was one of the initial states to permit gaming houses to reopen, given that they complied with new measures to help restrain the spread of the virus, including operating at a restricted capacity and promoting social distancing throughout the establishments.
Under new rules from the Mississippi Gaming Commission, gaming houses will operate at 50% capacity, with slot machines and table games spaced out to allow for distance between players.
